This years MAFA show represents a range of medium, conceptualization and approach to art making. All areas of contemporary practice are represented -
from lens-based to painting, installation, performance and sculpture supported
by theoretical and critical understanding of art’s histories and genealogies.
Studio work at Middlesex is founded upon belief in Fine Art practice as always
situated in cultural continuum and embedded within discourse and this is
apparent in the variety, strength and ambition of the works exhibited. We hope
you are as intrigued and stimulated by the art on display as we have been in
its origins and evolution, and that you join us in celebrating the achievement
of the graduating students.
