Mirror ball, slide projector, 35mm slide
A slide of a cylindrical glass tunnel at Poplar DLR station in East London is projected onto a rotating mirror ball, resulting in fragmented images reflected onto the surfaces of the exhibited space.
Initially, the images appear on a sidewall and then glide across an adjoining wall, ceiling and floor, eventually disappearing into the opposite sidewall, resulting in a sense of movement created from a still image.
