Never the Same Stream, 2012

Double video projection installation with 2 x sheet glass, mirror ball and mirror ball motor

Never the Same Stream is a mirrorball video projection work made up from combination of two different types of projections: whole images projected onto walls; and the same images fragmented, reflecting off the mirror ball moving across the walls of the exhibited space.

The whole and the fragmented images overlap with each other as well with the fragmented segments of the whole image appearing to float away from the whole.

The videos which are projected are of two different night time train journeys, of different duration, shot between the same stations in London. The result is of the same sceneries rushing past, out of phase with each other, on opposing walls both as a whole image as well as in fragments.
